Vocabulary Test. Students have been using these new words last week and will continue to practice this week.  They will bring the completed worksheets home.

Reading Log for the Week of 1/29. I will be checking the log daily as many students have been a bit lax on reading.  Remember, how do you get to Carnegie Hall?  Practice!  The same is for becoming a better reader.

Read 10 minutes each night.  Then complete the chart and write a summary.

Reading Log and 5W Questions

 

Students will read 10 minutes each night Monday -Thursday. Time and parent initials are to be recorded as well as the book title and author's name.  The student will choose a 5W question each night and record their answer in the space provided.  

Reading Log! Students should read at least 10 minutes every night.  The book is to be an independent selection at the student's comfort level.  The log should be completed every night, Monday -Thursday.
