You should also view the rubric again, and look at the checklist completed in school (a copy of it is attached).

Read the excerpt.
Then highlight at least three words in the text that are examples of sophisticated language (vivid verbs). Make sure you can explain why you chose those words.

You may do this homework various ways:
a) Print out the text and highlight with a highlighter.
b) Use the highlighting tool in Google Docs.
d) Write the words you've chosen in your spiral notebook. (EASIEST OPTION)
