Use this study sheet and our discussions of the best study practices and tools to use to assist you in preparing for our upcoming test on October 4th.

Time-Management - A suggested plan for studying:

Tonight - Complete the study sheet.

Fri./Sat./Sun. - Play the quizlet to study definitions and begin quizzing yourself on the study sheet.

Wed. - Continue quizzing yourself on the study sheet.

Thurs. - Choose any story in your textbook and see if you can apply the elements.

In preparation for our upcoming test on plot, characters, and conflict, you will now apply the elements to another text, on your own.

For the first link, the video, select unregistered class, Join, and it should take you to the clip. You can also try the youtube clip.

Review all of your Types of Characters & Conflict notes, plus the short stories in your textbook, "Duffy's Jacket" and "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi." Additionally, use this review sheet, which we completed in class, to guide your studying.

Due Thursday: Read pgs. 15-20 in your textbook, and complete only questions 1-5. Select three out of the five questions to answer. Read the directions carefully.

Read the rest of Duffy's Jacket on pages 5 - 11 in your Literacy textbook.

Then, answer 4 out of the 8 eight questions on the doc. Please read all the instructions and the questions carefully.
If there are terms you are not sure of, we will be taking notes on them on Monday. Just do not do that question.
