Award winners this year are as follows:
3rd Place, Technical Design - Akshaya Anikode and Kylie Lin followed the Engineering Design Process and documented their solution to a phone holder design challenge.
2nd Place, Coding - Benjamin Shain and Jonathan Liu completed a written test about coding and solved an on-site challenge to create a video game with specific features.
2nd Place, Technical Design - Vanessa Chan and Briana Djunaidy followed the Engineering Design Process and documented their solution to a phone holder design challenge.
1st Place, Inventions and Innovations - James Lavery, Arjun Malik, Owen Paling, Sidharth Ranjit, Nicholas Reznick, Rohan Sharma generated a display, research document, and model for their “eCon” invention.
1st Place, Junior Solar Sprint - Rishi Agarwal, Pravith Mallappa, Tanush Mallappa, and Kieran McLean constructed a solar-powered car, and created a project display and project documentation.
1st Place, Problem Solving - Megan Birns and Reena Saraiya designed, planned, constructed, and tested their own solution to a design challenge given to them at the conference.
1st Place, Promotional Marketing - Matthew Ritsan designed promotional materials for TSA, including a string bag logo, poster, and video advertisement.
1st Place, Video Game Design - Robert Kang, James Lavery, David Pietras, Matthew Ritsan, Rohan Sharma, Ryan Sukhai designed and created a video game titled, “Escape!”
