Hello and welcome to Marlboro Middle School! 

We are going to have a great year together in Literacy and Written Expressions classes.

Now that we have completed our fiction and nonfiction short stories unit, we are starting our class novels. 

Period 1 will be reading The Giver quartet (4-book series) by Lois Lowry.   

Periods 2 & 5 will be starting off with a mystery by Joan Lowery Nixon called The Name of the Game Was Murder. 

Writing classes are moving on from narrative (story) writing to explanatory essay writing.
