Sharon Ignoscia, M.S., CCC-Speech Language Pathologist

I am excited to begin my eighth year in Marlboro Township Schools! 2023-2024 begins my 18th year providing speech and language services to children in the school setting. I received my B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Montclair State, and received my M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from NOVA Southeastern University. I am ASHA certified, and hold the NJ State License in Speech Language Pathology.

My clinical experiences include providing services to children ages 2 to 21 yrs old with a wide range of abilities, in a variety of settings, including public school districts in Monmouth County, private specialized schools for children with developmental disabilities, as well as the private practice setting. Additionally, I have experience treating adults with speech and language/swallowing disorders in the acute rehab setting.

Treating children with complex communication needs is my passion. I am a lifelong learner, committed to using evidence based practice approaches to best meet the needs of our students. I have the pleasure of supporting students' academic and social/emotional learning at MTPS. I strongly support collaboration and communication with parents, teachers, Related Service providers, and administration to ensure student success.
