Did you know?
As MMS students you are lucky enough to attend either Marlboro High School or Colts Neck High School. Both schools are part of the Freehold Regional High School district and offer similar opportunities for students such as challenging curriculum, dedicated faculty, numerous after school activities, and a continuum of services for those in need. You will have the ability to customize your high school experience at either school to help you best meet your academic, social, and career-related goals. Both Colts Neck and Marlboro offer a full range of Honors and Advanced Placement courses as well as a wide variety of elective courses. In short, regardless of the home school you are slated to attend you are in very good hands!

In addition to the above high schools you may be considering a magnet high school program offered through the Freehold Regional High School District or the Monmouth County Vocational School District. Potentially, you are considering a private school. Now is an appropriate time to start looking into these opportunities and researching details regarding programs you are interested in. In particular, pay attention to specific requirements associated with each school. For example, 3 magnet schools require the completion of Algebra I as a prerequisite (Medical Sciences, Science & Engineering, and Computer Science). This means you must be enrolled in 8C or Geometry in 8th grade or be willing to sit for the course over the summer through the FRHSD Summer Academy. Other magnet schools do not have such prerequisites, however, it is a good idea to start familiarizing yourself with the various programs at this time.
