Hello M.M.S. family! It is with pure excitement that I welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! Although this is my third year at M.M.S. this will be my 13 year as a health and physical education teacher, with 9 of those years teaching at our outstanding Marlboro Elementary School. 

 

   To understand how I got to where I am today, here is a little about Mr. Duggan's professional history. My track to becoming an educator started very young with the love I saw my parents have for teaching. My mom was an elementary teacher while my dad was a high school health and physical education teacher. With no doubt in my mind I knew I wanted to be a health and PE teacher and pursued this goal by attending East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. During my studies at ESU I was able to play my 2 favorite sports, ice hockey and lacrosse. After my four years at ESU I was able to continue my education at Montclair State University where I received my Master's degree in educational leadership. These experiences have helped shape the teacher I am today, and I can't wait to put them to use at Marlboro Middle School.
