Hi all! I hope that everyone is safe and well. I know this time is different but it is temporary and I hope that you know we are all thinking of you!

For the remainder of the year, I will be on maternity leave. I have enjoyed getting to know you throughout your time in 6th grade and hope that the rest of the year is a successful one for you! Ms. Diaz, who many of you may know from being in our school, will be replacing me for the rest of the year. Her webpage is linked here where you will find her email address (ddiaz@marlboro.k12.nj.us) to reach out for anything. Best of luck for May and June and I hope everyone has a wonderful summer!

Hello Parents and Guardians!

Since each student in the district has been placed on Home Instruction due to COVID-19, all students are receiving assignments through their teachers' Google Classroom. I will also be online and available by email at acurrie@mtps.org from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday to answer questions and address any concerns you or your student may have.  Please feel free to reach out to me and let me know how you're doing!  We will all be here to support your children and our community during these difficult times.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Currie

Dear Parents/Guardians:

I hope you and your families are all staying well! I miss being in school and seeing everyone! I would be so happy to connect with them virtually if they need any support, assistance, or guidance.  If they'd like to have a check-in session, as we'd normally do in my office, please use this link to request a Google Hangout counseling appointment:

Dear 6th-grade students and parents,

It is hard to believe you are already past the halfway point in 6th grade! Hopefully, you have found a good routine for your classes and moving around the building. You may notice that the material may increase in difficulty as the year progresses so be sure to reach out to your teachers or me if you need help with some study strategies!

Recently, you took the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT). This test is one of the criteria that will be looked at to find the best placement for your classes in 7th grade. If you have any questions about placement, go to (MTPS Placement Criteria) for the most updated criteria and for more information about the specific requirements for each class. Please let me know if you have any questions!

I am here to help you have a happy and successful school year!

If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at acurrie@mtps.org
