Enrichment opportunities

When enrichment opportunities come to the attention of my office, I'll post information regarding them here, solely for the purpose of informing you about them.  Please use your judgment in evaluating the appropriateness of these programs for yourself/your child.  When interested, please contact the program directly for more information and to register.

PLEASE NOTE: Marlboro Township Public Schools does not fund nor provide transportation to these programs.  Participation in them is solely the responsibility of the student's family.

Create a passion project. Work with top mentors

The Lumiere Junior Explorer Program is a program for  middle school students to work one-on-one with a mentor to explore their academic interests and build a project they are passionate about.  Our mentors are scholars from top research universities such as Harvard, MIT,  Stanford, Yale, Duke and LSE. The program was founded by a Harvard & Oxford PhD who met as undergraduates at Harvard.

The program is rigorous and fully virtual. We offer need based financial aid for students who qualify. You can find the application in the brochureTo learn more, you can reach out to our Head of Partnerships, Maya Novak-Herzog, at maya.novak-herzog@lumiere.education or go to our website.

Apply by Feb 9th for our Spring 2025 cohort or Early Admissions Deadline for our Summer 2025 cohort using this application link!
