Enrichment opportunities

When enrichment opportunities come to the attention of my office, I'll post information regarding them here, solely for the purpose of informing you about them.  Please use your judgment in evaluating the appropriateness of these programs for yourself/your child.  When interested, please contact the program directly for more information and to register.
 
PLEASE NOTE: Marlboro Township Public Schools does not fund nor provide transportation for these programs.  Participation in them is solely the responsibility of the student's family.

Snacks With Scientists 2022

 

We have a great opportunity for your middle schoolers and would like to pass it on - High Technology High School is hosting an in-person “Snacks with Scientists” on October 21st, at High Tech from 3:30pm-5:30pm. 


Snacks with Scientists is a High Technology High School event (hosted by only female-identifying students this year) that intends to expose female-identifying 5th to 8th graders to STEM by connecting them with female-identifying STEM professionals.


Students will have the opportunity to meet with a number of STEM-professionals who specialize in a wide range of fields, such as software engineering, inorganic chemistry, pharmacy, and even transportation engineering. And students will do so all while munching on complementary snacks provided at the event!
