Evaluation System

A fair assessment of each student’s progress includes at least one of each of the following components:

 

SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENTS (30%)

Students will be assigned to work inside the classroom on special projects which may include: skits, dialogues, reports, researches, close reads, brief essays, technology based projects, etc. This is intended to provide a fun and easy way for students to practice their learned skills and being evaluated.

 

QUIZZES (30%)

Quizzes provide information about what students have recently learned and what they still need to improve. They may be oral or written, based on most recent material covered. Quiz dates will be previously announced.

 

TESTS (40%)

Provided to review material in a comprehensive format and evaluate progress. May be oral or written, based on most recent material covered. Test dates will be previously announced.
